Privacy Policy for UltiGoaltiStats

Last updated: September 27, 2026

UltiGoaltiStats is an iOS app for tracking ultimate frisbee and goaltimate stats. It is developed by Joel Conn, an individual developer (“I”, “me”). This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and how you control it.

The short version: I don’t collect any of your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to export it to your own Google or GitHub account.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following on your iPhone or iPad:

This data is never sent to me or to any server I operate. Keep in mind that rosters usually include other people’s names (your teammates). Please only enter information you have their permission to record.

Optional features that send data to your own accounts

The app has two optional export features. Neither is turned on by default, and each one runs only when you use it.

Google Sheets export

If you sign in with Google and export a game or a team’s lifetime stats, the app creates a new spreadsheet in your Google account. The spreadsheet contains the team and opponent names, the game date, score and tournament, and each player’s name, jersey number and statistics.

To do this, the app:

You can sign out of Google in the app at any time, which removes the stored tokens and email from your device. You can also revoke the app’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Spreadsheets already created stay in your Google account until you delete them. Your use of Google services is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

Publishing stats to GitHub Pages

If you set up GitHub publishing, the app uploads a stats web page to a GitHub repository you choose. GitHub Pages then serves it as a public website. Anyone with the link can see it, and it may be indexed by search engines. The published page includes player names and statistics.

To do this, the app:

Please get your teammates’ OK before publishing their names and stats publicly. To stop publishing, clear the token in the app’s GitHub settings and delete or revoke the token at github.com/settings/tokens. Pages you’ve already published stay online until you remove them from your repository. Your use of GitHub is governed by the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Sharing and exporting files

If you use the iOS share sheet to send stats to another app (such as Messages, Mail or Files), that app receives only what you chose to share.

What the app does not do

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep it. You can delete teams, players and games inside the app. Deleting the app removes its data from your device. It does not remove:

Because I never receive your data, there is nothing for me to delete on my end. If you have questions, email me.

Children

UltiGoaltiStats is not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I’ll post the updated version on this page and update the date at the top.
